Construction to perm loans

We are finally ready to build our home in the Blue Mountain Beach area, however, when we called our bank Wachovia/Wells Fargo they told us at this time they are not doing any new construction loans. Guess I should not have been surprised, it looks like an already challenging process has been ratcheted up a notch. It would be much appreciated if someone would point us to banks that are still in the business of construction to perm loans in the 30A area, thanks in advance.

Those loans don't exist anymore. We can't find any banks doing those anymore.
