A pandemic should have never been politicized. Far too many Americans have died for the sake of a needless culture war.

With the right wing and DeSantis’ Florida leading the way America once again leads the world in new Covid cases. Watch Florida explode in the video.

One hopes “active cases” in California is some kind of typo. Or that the state cracks off into the ocean tout de suite.

Reminder to Unvaccinated Conservative Christians:

The Lord sat out the Holocaust.

Do you really think He’s going to cancel His lunch plans to swoop down and protect you from COVID?

I think Religion and Politics has found each other and the marriage was not made in heaven. The bond seems very strong though. They seem to put a lot of trust in each other as if they both have each other's back. When I point out to them the many ways that Trump has proven to care ONLY about his own back they are in complete denial. The more I try to persuade them of the truth the stronger the denial becomes. My new approach is to stop talking politics and take the conversations to a better place like "how are you doing with all that has happened the last couple years". That seems to spark a more open conversation about people (human beings doing what they do). I have decided that I can not have any part in trying to break up a bad marriage because it must come from their own minds. Religion has so many good purposes that I would never be qualified to interfere. The only thing I can do is be a good ambassador for truth, love and forgiveness. I am learning how to do this but I have found that it must be sincere and it must come from the heart otherwise they will see right thru you as it should be. That said it is very very difficult not to get frustrated and angry with people who choose to believe in something that seems so obviously flawed (to me). But I keep reminding myself that I am also flawed...What does any of this have with Covid 19 Pandemic...everything...

Matt Schlapp must believe everyone has healthcare coverage because he gives zero thought to the cost of care vs prevention and disagrees with McConnell on vaccines by claiming post infection treatment is the answer.

ARI MELBER: I`m reading you a quote from Mitch McConnell this week: "We need shots in everybody`s arm, or we`re going to be back in a situation like the fall._ Is McConnell right or wrong to say that?

SCHLAPP: He is completely wrong.

The -- what we need to do when it comes to battling this terrible Chinese corona is make sure that people take command of their own health. And the best piece of news, which you didn`t talk about with Fauci, which I wish you had, is the therapeutics that are available for people who get sick.

What we`re seeing, and with the doctors I talk to, is great success with the therapeutics that are -- that are leading older people and people who have underlying conditions...

(CROSSTALK)

MELBER: I`m over on time. I`m over on time. It`s not personal. I can`t take from the next hour.

“I think you as a press have a responsibility to ask questions of the Democrats as well. How many of the Democrats are willing to say whether or not they’ve been vaccinated?”

Drunk Ronny Jackson (Redneck, Tx) responding a question on being vaccinated.

The answer is 100%. A May survey in which all Democrats answered showed 100% of House and Senate Democrats have been vaccinated.
That same survey found that at least 44.8% of House Republicans and 92% of Senate Republicans are vaccinated, but 112 GOP offices did not respond.

Revisiting the cost of care.
Someone should have told him free vaccines were available. He’s now begging others for money to pay medical bills. So much for the party of personal responsibility.

Donald "Frue" McAvoy was healthy and young, so he decided the COVID-19 vaccine wasn't necessary, but that's all changed after he was hospitalized with a severe infection, reported WJAX-TV.

"I was skeptical," he said. "I was like, 'Eh, don't get it, I don't need it -- I'm healthy, I'm young, I'm good, I'm okay."

But the 33-year-old gym manager tested positive on June 24, and he was hospitalized a couple of days later and eventually moved to the intensive care unit.

"I remember just sitting there crying and crying," McAvoy said. "All I could think about was fighting, and wanting to get out to see my daughter."

McAvoy was released last week, but still depends on an oxygen tank because his lungs still aren't strong enough to go without one, and he hasn't seen his daughter in a month because he's still testing positive for what he believes is the delta variant of the virus.

"I was one of those people that said it affects just the elderly or affects the older people that have health conditions -- that's absolutely not true," McAvoy said. "I hope that people start to take it serious."

McAvoy has set up a GoFundMe page to pay for medical bills and other expenses.
