We traveled to Texas for Thanksgivng, with my brother and his family. at their home in Houston. My parents flew and my family and I drove. When we got back I saw Dr. Fauci on TV saying that everyone who had a family gathering for Thanksgiving should "assume" that they are infected and should be tested ASAP. I can report that none of us have been sick and we didn't wear masks during our time at my brother's house. I'm sure that some of you who think we should cower in fear will be disappointed that we didn't get sick or die. (We're all registered Republicans, so we deserve to die, right?) I plan to continue to go on with my life and wear a mask where it's suggested and require, but I choose not to live in fear. I still won't eat at restaurants or order take out food, however, although my mom has.

An Associated Press analysis reveals that in 376 counties with the highest number of new cases per capita, the overwhelming majority — 93% of those counties — went for Trump, a rate above other less severely hit areas.

Most were rural counties in Montana, the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Wisconsin — the kinds of areas that often have lower rates of adherence to social distancing, mask-wearing and other public health measures, and have been a focal point for much of the latest surge in cases.

The Russian vaccine hasn't even gone to phase 3 testing which all the others have. Pretty sketchy just so can say they were first. The article I read said nobody has any idea how effective it will be if at all...
 
I can't get past "sputnik". I wonder if that's a subtle dig at being first just like the space program.?
