Creating new threads

tangents are my favorite things on the board. many threads end up being way off subject (SJ's infamous colonoscopy) in a silly way, and then they either get back on track or the thread just peters out... this is normal.

but I understand that if you want to discuss another subject that is unrelated to the thread, then just start a new thread.
