Insurance Zone is looking for someone to fill a full time Customer Service Assistant position assisting primarily in our Personal Lines Department. This new position will work out of our 98 office in Miramar Beach.
The right candidate must have the following:
1. Excellent communication and telephone skills
2. Excellent computer skills and ability to work with Microsoft products including Outlook, Word and Excel
3. Ability to multi-task
4. Great organization skills
5. Ability to work in face paced environment
6. Desire to learn and grow with Insurance Zone
Some of the primary responsibilities include:
1. Answering and assisting with phone calls
2. Greeting guests
3. Processing Certificates of Insurance
4. Processing Endorsements
5. Processing Renewals
6. Processing Mail
7. Processing Payments
8. Assisting with rating homeowners and auto quotes
9. Assisting with other special projects as needed
10. Walking IZ pups as needed
The hours for this position will be Monday thru Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm and Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
Experience in the insurance industry including having a 440 Customer Service License is a big plus but not a must. If the right candidate does not have a 440 Customer Service License, Insurance Zone will pay for the 440 licensing class after 6 months of service. Insurance Zone is a full service commercial and personal lines independent agency, locally owned with offices in Miramar Beach, Santa Rosa Beach, Tampa and Atlanta. Our local office serves the needs of homeowners and businesses in the Emerald Coast and throughout the South East.
