Dallas Cowboys Preseason Game at New Stadium, Friday, Aug. 21, 7 p.m.

The Dallas Cowboys will have their first game in the new stadium this Friday, Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. It will be on Fox with national coverage. The Cowboys will face the Tennesee Titans in this preseason matchup. We'll have lots to cheer for as we watch a number of players from both teams, as well as the NFL head referee, who are regulars to South Walton for their Florida retreat. The stadium has a very impressive schedule for special events lined up this fall (U2) as well as hosting a number of NCAA games. The huge suspended viewing screen is something. There should be a lot of parties going on in SoWal Friday night to watch. I know a special mother who will be watching up in NoWal.

The reddish/black photo is my daughter & friend on the "world's largest screen" (everything's bigger in TX you know!) ... She took a picture of the screen showing them on it and the screen changed while she was taking the photo. Cool effect!

I read that parking for the game Friday will be $70. Ouch!

Thanks, Rita. Neat pics. That screen just makes everything soooo much bigger than life. But, like you said, things are bigger in Texas. I've just called to warn my son!!! Wow. $70 for parking. He is going to the game with some friends.

These spaces will cost as “low” as $25, and will be located within a 1.2 mile radius of the new place. And hey, what’s an extra .2 miles? You’re already hoofing it a mile. Consider it your pregame workout!
Oh, and just how many extra spaces did the town approve? A whopping 746 of them. That should solve the problem entirely." ........................

Luuuuuuuuuvv the Cowboys! It's the only team my Daddy was totally devoted to. It'll be hard watching them this year...first season without my Dad. I won't get to call him and bet on the game, and listen to his analysis of the team this year.
