Before and after ???... no major events. Danger Below!!!

The first photo is from Mar 21 2006. The next photo is from Jun 11 2006.

I guess they were hoping this would happen so they wouldn't have to buy so much sand, nor haul off the construction debris. :idontno:

That is unbelievable. I really feel sorry for all these homeowners that are threatened with losing their homes, even if it is a vacation home. Where was this photo taken?

Do over!

Blue Mtn Beach - home of the seawalls.
Crap, I was afraid you were going to say that. What about Blue Mtn Villas and the other low density condos along that area? They looked EXTREMELY close to the edge 2 years ago.

yay! one down, several hundred more to go - and only an idiot would rebuild that close to the edge - soon bmb will be back to the late 60's wonderfulness i remember (at least the beach part) with little or no housing visible from the beach, being built way back behind the dunes - come on Alberto! - see if you can get a strike, or at least a 3-10 split!

note: if you have a house on the edge there, just tear it down now yourself and avoid the trouble later

As I have said before on here, the first time I saw Blue Mtn Beach, the first thing out of my mouth was "this must be heaven." I don't own anything anywhere in Florida, AB, but saying that is awfully mean-spirited of you. Actually, it's downright evil. Just the way I see it.

Now we know Skeletor's true identity. :floor:
