Day trip to the East

My family is headed back to Sowal for our 10th summer there in July. We will have Grandma and Grandpa in tow as well as the 7 grandkids (ages 5 to 17). We have been doing the deep sea fishing thing every year out of Panama City and I was wondering if anybody knew of any neat excursion ideas a little more to the East say... St. George Island area, something we could make a day excursion. I found "Journeys of St. George Island" owned and operated by Jeanni and Justin McMillan that offers some fun sounding excursions. Has anybody ever used them or can recommend something similar. I like their "bounty of the sea" idea where you can get fresh shellfish.

Well....ahem...there are some...ahem...folks on here who will argue that Apalach and SGI are not day trips. I have done it a couple of times and had a great day! Check out the Apalach thread for some good suggestions.
