I didn't write that but I posted it because it is common for that to be called deep water here. I know that's not true most anywhere else. Deep water in SoWal is being able to get a shallow draft boat in and out, not a "real" deep water boat.

Yes, but RiverOtter wants a 39' race boat. He would wake up all the neighbors, and I know you would not like that. ;-)

To the uniformed, Franny is dead on target here. Also, not mentioned is that the Intercoastal Waterway is just up the creek and around the corner, and it is truly deep water with access to West Bay (Panama City) as well as to the East Pass and Gulf in Destin.

Are you sure about the 28' foot inboard motor boat. Most of the bay front lots have only average of 24" deep water. My friend also most destoryed his 24' outboard motor getting sand in the motor and cost several hundred dollars to fix. I would love to have a nice 28' fishing boat dock in my door, but that not possible. I will continue to cruise on the party boat for now.

If this is deep water, then sign me up for dock alone.
