I had a venison steak last night at Beachwalk Cafe. It was delish!! It said New Zealand venison so I doubt that it was this poor deer. ;-)

How beautiful a nature scene and photo turned sad cuz of the death of the doe. 
Why didn't the people leave the area so they could get out? How sad for the doe. Maybe I'm not getting it. 
Were they in trouble in the first place and then just were frightened of the people and then exhausted and drowned? ...by the park :shock: Poor doe, a deer, a female deer...
