I just voted this morning around 9:45 a.m. and there were quite a few people doing the same. This is very exciting!
I DID NOT appreciate being called to by candidates (or their representatives) in the parking lot. As if I am going to change my mind out there in the parking lot.....
I feel this way even though the "greetings" were from representatives of candidates that I planned on voting for anyway. I know there are laws that allow no campaigning within a certain distance of the polling place, but I was surprised how I was more or less "forced to run the gauntlet" - as Skunky stated - in order to get in the door to vote. I really, REALLY did not like that at all, and smart candidates would make sure that their representatives are respectful and do not "shout out" to people going in to vote.

Are the candidate representatives yelling at everybody, or just those going in the big double doors in the center?
Parking at one of the ends and coming in either the north door (our end of the building) or the south door (planning department) might help. I would hate to think they are politicking ALL of our customers. Maybe that's why it's been slowish this week.
