Do you have a favourite quote?

these are not necessarily quotes, but they are my favorite "momisms" that she used when she was really mad at one of us:

i brought you into this world and i can take you out !

please don't make mommy kill you ! this was my favorite for some reason, probably because my mom is such a big softy. it was used frequently during the teenage years - 'nuff said.

she sure wouldn't be able to tell us these now - child abuse. my sis who's a teacher and i were discussing this not too long ago.

So true! My sisters and I often laugh about my mother throwing frozen hamburger meat (still in the package) at us. :floor: Now that I'm the mother of a teenager I completely understand.

now that i think back to how i was as a teenager, i am surprised my mom didn't kill me ! can't wait to see how my sis handles my nephew - glad it's her and not me.

This reminded me of something my niece said when she was 4. My sister and I, along with my niece were having lunch in a very crowded Atlanta Bread Co. My niece started misbehaving, and my sister told her that she was going to get a smack on her bottom if she didn't straighten up. Well my niece very loudly said "You are not suppose to talk to me like that." Every head turned and looked at out table, as if we had told the child we were going to kill her. :funn:

I heard my most recent favorite last week on a delayed (and eventually cancelled) ASA flight into PC.

Another passenger was discussing the ASA Gate Agents mission statement:

"We're not satisfied till you're not satisfied"

Since that was my fourth delayed/screwed up flight of the week, I got a kick out of it.

SJ- saw a really neat poster/print with the "Lovely Day for a Guinness" quote- and featuring a picture of a toucan!
