Does Anyone Shop on EBay?

I've used it lots of times. Right now I'm bidding on Bare Escentuals face powder that cost about $20 at Sephora, and half that on EBay. If I'm the high bidder. ;-) A friend of mine collects historical clothing and one day when we were out in the yard talking, she dashed inside saying "I gotta go! I'm in a bidding war for a corset!" My son is always building computers for himself, and he sells his old ones on EBay and rolls the profit into his new ones.

I once bid on a Jimmy Buffett Corona inflatable airplane along with some Jimmy Buffett banners for my college apt. Other than that I keep it to a minimum. Sometimes concert tickets...once on some Lily Pulitzer fabric. I'm such a moron.

I'm glad you mentioned Bare Escentuals. Do you like mineral makeup? I have never used it but have been thinking about trying it. I was going to ask Dabell but she has disappeared.

I love Bare Escentuals....I will never buy another make-up again. IMHO, it does everything they say it does....

EBay scares me. But then again, ATM cards scare me. Furs at the beach scare me. Guns scare me. Designer logos don't scare me so much as they make wonder why the people wearing them don't get paid for free advertising. Big huge new houses scare me, and when they cut down trees to make way for those huge houses it really po's me. I am not scared in my home, I am cozy and sometimes the big huge houses that surround me give my plants some shade. I could go buy all those "things" I suppose, but I am just happy with what I've got and no material object has factored into that equation. My family and friends are what make me happy and not so scared. I am blessed.
