Does Anyone Watch Invasion? What Happened Last Night?

I enjoy the show "Invasion" very much, though I fell asleep during the last 30 minutes last night and it was a new episode. Can someone tell me what happened?

For those who don't know this show, it's a drama about a hurricane happening in a place called Homestead, Florida. But, it's not really a hurricane -- it's related to aliens and the "hurricane" seems to be a way of "invading". But little is known so far about what is going on except some people seem to have become half-human/half-alien but it's not really clear to them or others what that means. And the aliens seem very much connected to water (e.g., swamps), though the connection isn't completely clear yet. The show follows two families connected through a divorce. The ex-wife and her husband so far seem to be affected by the Alien take-over, and the ex-husband (a ranger) and his new pregnant wife (a reporter) are trying to figure out what is going on and solve the mystery. The situation is a myster to the people who have been "taken over" by the aliens as well because they don't quite understand what is happening to them.

It's a funs show - a slow drama right after "Lost" which I don't watch.

I watch but I have it dvr'd. Hubby worked late last night and I won't watch it alone. Too skeeery. I love iInvasion and Lost. Invasion is getting really good. If you don't get an update soon, I'll let you know after I watch.

Thanks, I'm curious. I was looking for an interesting show to watch on a regular basis and Invasion is perfect, especially since the hook is hurricanes (and aliens). But not too many people seem to be watching it, so I hope it stays on.

I ended up wandering off to read about twenty minutes in. Pretty boring Invasion episode that just couldn't hold my attention.

And I'm actually kind of bummed that Surface finished its season and is pretty borderline for renewal. For all the things that were horribly wrong and cheesetastic about the show, it had its heart in the right place. And I want a Nim of my own as a pet.

the Rangers brother (the fat guy) met his clone but it was a disgusting version of him...remember he was attacked in the water but only for a second and they thought it might have been an aligator? It (clone) knew the sister and had a picture of her with him....spoooky......the cop found out who shot him....(the priest) and said you're going to the island. The daughter...(teen one) wants to know what's in the water and what if "feels like" so the end showed her dipping her toes in...........the water! :shock:

Thanks. How could the clone of the ranger's brother be more disgusting than the ranger's brother himself (he's pretty disgusting already)? I remember his early attack and they compared the bites on his legs to the bites on the neck of the dead guy at the hospital. Do we know what the "Island" is (that priest was creepy from the first show on). The daughter has always been a bit rebellious. It's a fun show. Unfortunately, they don't have new ones every week. I hope it gets renewed for next year.

did you see the episode where the girl was dumped in the water and then she ended up at the island and all these other "bad versions" were there saying "you'll like it here!" yahdayahda! the daughter also was shown sleeping with the one armed deputy!

Yup saw that episode. THe other epispode I fell asleep during was the one in which the hybrids had their first group meeting at the church. By the way, welcome.
