Doug Fieger, the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the band the Knack, whose enduring 1979 hit ?My Sharona? has become an emblem of the new wave era in rock and a prime example of the brevity of pop fame, died on Sunday at his home in Woodland Hills, Calif. He was 57.

Aww, I loved The Knack.

I saw that, yesterday. Sadly, his motor will run no more. (think of Sharona)

They were SO far ahead of their time. He's been fighting this for a while. He's number two. Bruce Gary, the original drummer, passed years ago from Lymphoma if I remember correctly.

So who are the other two gonna be?

[Will B]

Berton Averre (sp?) and Prescott Niles are the remaining two...

I meant dead celebrities, they always come in 3's.

I thought you were headed that way with the trailing off behind your original comment.
