Early midlife Crisis

[BeachCleaner101]

Where do I begin? This year has been aweful. I realize, it's time for a change in tune and career.
I'm very much an artist and creative type. I know that doesn't always pay the bills. Does anyone know how how I could get my toe in the door on film, music, art scene?
All input appreciated, including jaded or snarky remarks.

Get out and make contact, luckily it is easy to meet people in SoWal. Go to art openings, volunteer at places like CAA and The REP.
