A newlywed and Fleming's employee, Fatih, succombed to the undertow last week and drowned :(
He was from Turkey and lived in the area for 4 years.

His wife and friends are trying to have his body returned to Turkey for a proper burial, but the cost is $8000. Does anyone know if Fleming's has started a fund?

It is very sad, and hopefully there will be a large turnout.

We raised over $3k tonight to add to the $5k from Wed. I was truly blown away by the generousity of the everyone and those in the community. :)

Thank you too everyone who helped promote this and who came out to support our cause!
