FDOT Flyer for survey

Just a little heads up, got a flyer in the mail about a survey of travel habits that asks me to go to the following website.

Untitled Page

This flyer was put out by HSA Consulting Group of Gulf Breeze Florida. Here's some of the officers and their affiliatted companies.

SMITH, GAY HAMILITON - Aerosmith Metals Corporation - No web presence, but I'm sure they specialize in something used in bridge construction.
MATTHEWS, NORMAN D. - Simwright Inc. GIS services - website SimWright, Inc. :: Adding New Dimensions to Geospatial Data first project listed is for the FDOT

I'm not saying it's a scam or illegal, just seems a little fishy since it's coming from the land of corruption regarding road projects and toll bridges.

I feel an "official" report coming out soon...

Talk about something that smells funny. Incomplete domain registration information through Godaddy? Come on, maybe this is a contractor from DOT doing this, but until I saw an official release from Tommie Speights, or some of those other DOT guys, I would not answer this thing. The code comes off the postcard, so they know who is saying what by cross referencing it back.

I think they are trying to figure out how much of a toll you can afford.

Here's what's really suspicious since I logged into it. There's no questioning of where your destination(s) is/are. Obviously they know where you live from the address, and one of the reasons I'm sure they'll give for tracking, but it never asks where I'm going, only how far.

IMO this is for some made up data to push the midbay bridge, toll road to no where, or to put a toll on 331.

I think everyone should respond with either very short distances (less than a mile) or no distance at all. No use no need for the above mentioned projects. I'm still all for widening the 331 bridge, just not wanting to pay per use. ;-)
