Its really too bad. It was a nice, out-of-the-way, place to eat and the food was great. The news this morning said it was a total loss. I, as others, hope they will rebuild but it won't have the same ambiance, I'm afraid.
 
Wow, almost went that route on the way home yesterday but took the Kinston way instead - so sorry about this - always wanted to eat there - will definitely go when it is rebuilt!
 
We have talked and talked about going to the Red Bay Grocery and never made it. Rebuild and we will come!!:clap:
 
Dining at the Red Bay Grocery's previous life was ...colorful also.

So I look forward to the reincarnation.

For me it will be at least a three-peat...maybe a four-peat.
 
According to WZEP this morning, the damage was not as bad as first thought! Hooray.

hopefully they will be back in operation soon--the food is excellent and the feeling of community is priceless.
