Darlene is my middle name, not my nickname
WOW, OL....cute, cute kids you have there. And yes, they have shot up. Here is a picture of my son that was taken a few days before school started. The hair got cut the second week of school because football practice started. He hated to see it go, but I think he has gotten used to it now.

Great picture, Darlene, he's a good looking kid! I like the long hair. Dylan got his cut too. It's probably the shortest it's been for a while. I love the surfer boy look.
Thanks everyone for your nice comments, they really are great kids. We are blessed. Sam has almost caught up with me in height. She's 5'6". I'm 5'8" and Mr OL is 6'4" so slim chance of having shortys here.

Her ballet teacher loves her legs! We are so excited, she has an appointment to get fitted for her pointe shoes tomorrow. She has worked especially hard this summer and has been working towards this goal since third grade. :clap_1:

When I saw that pic it reminded me of my hubby when he was that age. Same color hair and cut. :clap_1: Amazing how kids can change so much in s ahort time. I saw my brohter-in-laws neice last weekend, and I see her 3 -4 x a year, and I walked right by her. :shock: The braces were offf, she was wearing contacts and some makeup (15 yrs) and fadish clothes. Not to mention she had grown in the chest too. I just saw her at Xmas, and she didn't look anything like that.
Congratulations on the pointe. So many quit before they make it to that point (no pun intended).
