The First Note was great and will be missed! The food was really good and the concept was cool! Red Fish Village should definitely consider clipping back some of the really tall plants, etc. People pass right by it and would never think to stop and eat. Even PJ's coffee is missed in that area!

According to my Master Gardener wife, Red Fish Village was required to retain and maintain certain native growth and they could place it where they wanted. They chose to maintain it where it is now located instead of at the back of the property. Also, they felt it would be a buffer for their residents. In regard to trimming back, it is not permitted due to the native nature of the plants.

Recently someone mentioned that the PJ's location was leased. Does anyone have any idea what may be going there?

Also a Jimmy John's is coming soon...but according to the company, it will be in Destin!
