Fishing info.?

Hi everyone I will be staying in Fort Walton about two weeks from now. I have two kayaks and was thinking about trying to fish western lake. I have plenty of bass and northern gear. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use and what types of fish would be possible to catch at that time?
