I think I saw some flesh eating bacteria this afternoon at the hurricane oyster bar. They were sitting around a table outside smoking, cussing, and drinking.

Speaking of flesh eating - the new "surf shop" in Grayton has a stained, well-worn "vintage" (used) OP tee shirt for $125 - I kid you not. Even if you can't find one in the bottom of a drawer or Good Will for $2 you can get one on Ebay for $7.99.

The offerings and the vibe is about as anti-Grayton as you could dream up. Another sign that the "branding" of 30a has jumped the shark. What's next? 30a oxygen bars? How about SoWal Saltwater bars?

Here's a tip: steer clear of any company that wishes to have a "tribe".

I remember when Grayton was a bunch of block houses and the Red Bar. There was also a shaved ice place I spent all of my allowance at. Now we have the beautiful beach and no parking and some jerk who wants to yell over where you put your umbrella
