For Intelligent Optimists

[scooterbug44]

I have a new favorite magazine - Ode!

The entire magazine is full of good news with stories about new inventions and people who are changing the world for the better.

The idea behind the magazine is that the more people know about a possible new solution, the more people will embrace the new opportunity - intelligent optimism!

Check it out at odemagazine.com

Grandma Scooterbug passed it along to me - as we both dislike how negative so much of the news is these days - and it is very refreshing to hear about SOLUTIONS and IDEAS instead of problems and blame.

Readers Digest version 2.0?;-)

Dunno about Reader's Digest 2.0 - more service projects and inventions. My favorite article so far is about a guy who figured out how to use rats to find landmines.

has been one of my favorites for awhile now...I, too, like the positiveness and the unusual...the creativeness.

Yep, another good one is Yes! magazine, a quarterly that I wish were a weekly. Kosmos is also great, sort of a high-level international version, but it is way more cerebral than the other two and I am always having to look up words in the articles. Lots easier with my handy Kindle ;-)
