Geminids Meteor Shower and Full Moon -- Dec 13 2008

Geminids (from the constellation Gemini) Meteor Shower and Full Moon -- Dec 13 2008

Being that there is a full moon on Dec 13, it will make seeing the meteors more difficult, but that is the peek of the shower. I saw quite a few last night in the dark sky.

Keep your eyes peeled, and be thinking about some wishes.

Sounds like a perfect beach night to watch the sky!!

with a sleeping bag or heavy blanket!

I can't wait!

I hope the sky is clear on the 13th!

I wish I could see it from the beach, but I'll sure be looking here in TX. Thanks once again, SJ for keeping us celestially aware.
