Does anyone here have these gigantic acorns falling in your yards?

The old fella we bought the house from was in love with these trees (he planted five of them 30 years ago) and now I have a bajillion of these things in my yard. You can't even walk across the yard without twisting your ankle. :bang:

They're Bur Oak acorns. So neat looking. A good tree too, so you treat it nicely LL --------- don't be nicking it with that mower!

I put two of them on my desk and I can't tell you how many times people have picked them up and said, "these nuts are huge!"

We call them Mossy Cup Oaks down here. I'm not sure what the real name is, but I really wish they hadn't planted them in my yard. :bang:

I love that this is what you do at work! :clap_1:

I don't even try to hide it. I was sitting there holding that thing up to my webcam with people walking by my desk. :floor:

If I stop posting completely one day, you'll know why....
