"Kids Rock the Block!" Party
Saturday Sept 4, 2010
Western Green at Rosemary Beach
5:30pm - 7:30pm
KIDS ROCK THE BLOCK party is planned for Saturday evening from 5:30-7:30 on the Western Green. The last lemonade stand of the season will be in front of Gigi's at the same time. The party is free, but please bring a donation to the lemonade stand for the Alaqua Animal Refuge. This wonderful no kill animal shelter located in Freeport Florida relies on the community's financial support in order to care for and sometimes rehabilitate abandoned animals. Alaqua recently took in a sweet and beautiful miniature horse named Champ who had been starved and abused. He is getting better but he needs a lot of extra special care. The kids that volunteer at the lemonade stand are determined to raise enough money to get him happy, healthy, and adoptable again... so please help them help Champ as well as all of the other precious animals residing at Alaqua!
