While at this juncture in time, I don't support her for president, how can you say you are afraid of the masses who support her for president when you consider the "masses" that continue to elect many who have no use for our present form of government and would gladly socialize every aspect of our being. Are you also fearful of many, many others who would destroy our way of life as it now is? The masses that support Sarah Palin are people with whom you don't agree. They are Americans just like you, nothing more, nothing less.

Those that would vote for Sarah Palin for ANY public office would be right wing "personality-only" voters. There are way too many on the right who will vote for her ONLY because she is so despised by the Left, not because of any independant minded political thinking on their part.

All she has to do is drop a few sound bites with any of the following words: death camp, prayer, mom, our soldiers, maverick, soccer, the real America, and lipstick--sometimers all in one sentence--and she provides a nervanic oasis to her dumb base camp.

PLEASE!! STOP TALKING ABOUT THIS DUMB EXCUSE OF A POLITICIAN, morons are also allowed the vote in this great country, and they may just do that!!

Palin's excuse is that her young daughter has a baby w/ a POS father who keep saying rude things about her family.

On the other hand, Palin literally dragged teenagers Bristol and Levi onto a national stage solely for her own best interests, with zero regard for how it would impact their lives for years to come. That was the first POS move in my opinion.

I don't care how politically talented she was, Lynnie is right -- Palin had plenty of years ahead of her. She could have been highly effective in the next election cycle if she had just waited and decided NOT to toss her daughter under the bus. But she didn't. And that told me EVERYTHING I needed to know about her. She either doesn't have an ounce of empathy, or has no good sense. Or both.

That said, Levi's 15 minutes were up awhile ago. Bristol's tell-all will be the interesting one. But it is years away. I feel so bad for her, still. :(

Obviously, you should know.

Apologies--guess I hit a little close to home. Sorry.
No apology needed. I was referring to you, not me and I am pleased to see you were bright enough to pick up on it.

No, you have to draw the line somewhere - and that you wouldn't pretty effectively shows how much reality/common sense is thrown by the wayside in political debate.

I don't like Palin and I think she handled the entire situation poorly, but she is certainly FAR above Levi - who is celebrating his condomless sex w/ a pistacio commercial and posing for Playgirl.

I will say that it's disheartening to see someone rewarded financially as a result of their failings. This applies to Levi as well.
