good bye beloved Sunshine.

For those of you who are old timers and remember Cork's Chinese crested Sunshine, she is losing her today to an untreatable illness. Please remember her and Sunny at this time and keep them in your thoughts. Can someone find a pic and post it? Sunny was our Sowal mascot and attended the soirees. Quiet a personality and she drew attention where ever she went.

I am so sorry to hear this. I remember how Cork adored her pet. I'll bet she can't imagine life without her baby. Please send Cork my sympathy.

To Cork and Li'l Miss Sunshine... my heart just goes out in throbs! My-my. If ever there was a PAIR of God's Grace & Fate y'all are IT! Cork if you show up here: my hugs wrap you up TIGHT... if not... I know our sweet A-Funn will carry our heart on to you. There's nothing much damn easy or graceful about being left behind... but there's a whole bunch of us here cradling you & Sunny in the embracing hammock of our hearts.

Sending lots of love and light to Cork... Sunshine was a wonderful fur-baby, such a character! I'll never forget the first time I met her, at one of the soirees:

Me: Is that a Chinese Crested...? In a HULA skirt???
BB and Sunshine matched so wonderfully well, that I had to get them posing together...

Thinking of Cork and Sunshine! So sorry to hear the sad news!

Quick up-date.....Sunshine is still hanging in there with her mom and brother (moonshine) they are in SoWal right now and enjoying the wonderful house, ATypical on Grayton. Seems that Sunshine just needed a little SoWal magic to bring her back to life...she has been playing on the beach!

Whew. That's good to hear that Sunshine is doing better. I'm certainly thinking of Cork now because I know how precious Sunshine is to her. Cork and Sunshine were central to my early days in SoWal, and I have photos though I'll have to see if I can find them. Sunshine is a very cool dog, even without the many outfits she wears.
