Ok... I have to go to bed now! I hope you ALL had a very safe and Happy New Year!!!! Can't wait to here what everyone did or didn't do!!!! Pictures are always welcome!! SJ... hope you are feeling better today! Oh, and I believe Miss Kitty comes home today?! I'll check in with my morning cup of joe later!!!! (much later, I'm sure) all of you!!!!

We didn't go out this year. We stayed home with the kids and watched the Stars lose (my son insisted and we do love hockey) and then we played some games and watched a movie that the kids picked out. We did have some awesome food from Central Market and many glasses of champagne!! I think the kids had a great time just hanging out and that's what really mattered tonight! I'm sure we assisted in waking up the neighborhood at midnight! We saw some fireworks down the street and heard others yelling and partying around the neighborhood. It was a Happy Mellow New Year for us this year!!!!! Alright 2006!!!! Bring it on!!!!!

We spent the evening drinking champagne, opening boxes, and setting up computers and audio/visual stuff.

Oh, and we looked outside at the fireworks. And listened to plenty. My, my.

I think I am going to need more than one cup of coffee. Good thing my spouse set up the cappuccino machine.

My NYE wasn't as exotic as dancing on a bar, but I feel like I did. I'm hoping the lemonade slush and Tater Tots I just got at Sonic will kick in soon.

We had reservations for a big New Years Eve bash at Chateau Elan this year. We both woke up yesterday feeling somewhat like we'd been run over by a semi! Head, throat, queasy, yuck! We also had to attend a memorial service for a friend that passed away suddenly.

We got to the hotel and met up with the rest of the group. Visited with everyone for a while, took a nap, downed Sudafed and asprin and went to the party. We managed to make all the way to 12:02 wished each other Happy New Year, and anniversary (#26 today!) Then fled to the door and took the shuttle back to the hotel and died. Hopefully, we will be able to nap and take it easy and plot our way to SoWal for next NYE!!!!!!
