i feel so boring - we didn't do a damn thing last night. i was too lazy to even drink, the hubby drank a bottle of wine and we watched some crappy scary movies, were asleep before 12:30. even more exciting today - taking the tree down now. man this is a hotbed of excietement around here !

You have to feel better than me then. I was doing great, totally excelling at Trivia Pursuit Pop Culture, then the Amarula came out. It put me over the edge.

We are waiting on dinner guests (delayed by a kid's tennis match), and I could go to bed right now. The only thing keeping me going is the thought of the greasy juicy hamburgers we are cooking.

We grill when it's cold too! But today is weird and warm- waiting for the t-storms tonight. So the beef stew I was going to make got canceled in favor of grilling!

Now, what is aramula??? Does it make you drunk? I have seen enough alcohol to last me through the next year! I said saw, not consumed...my personal best was Friday night....3 martini's (one was chocolate!!) That was the night before the morning when I couldn't sleep on the boat and woke up at 2:15 am and didn't go to bed until 1:00am the next day!!!

OMG...I found a new addiction in the casino. Hate the slots...they just rob me....so, when I was wondering the ship looking for a place that was not rolling and creaking, I went in the casino and found a woman playing this game...Le Tumbler. You throw tokens down slots and and hope the coins hit each other and fall down the chute. I watched and learned and then had to sneak in the cabin for cash...then I played with her for 2 1/2 hours!!! Went back after the spa and won two bottles of champagne when the token for that prize fell down! I then got 1/2 the family addicted and will look on ebay for one of these games!! Luckily, I did not discover this game until the last day!!!

We had reservations for a big New Years Eve bash at Chateau Elan this year. We both woke up yesterday feeling somewhat like we'd been run over by a semi! Head, throat, queasy, yuck! We also had to attend a memorial service for a friend that passed away suddenly.

We got to the hotel and met up with the rest of the group. Visited with everyone for a while, took a nap, downed Sudafed and asprin and went to the party. We managed to make all the way to 12:02 wished each other Happy New Year, and anniversary (#26 today!) Then fled to the door and took the shuttle back to the hotel and died. Hopefully, we will be able to nap and take it easy and plot our way to SoWal for next NYE!!!!!!
