Gov. Scott takes over

I think this remark is a bit over the line, even with the smiley face, Shopper.

Wait. Calling public service unions (not union members) scoundrels is over the line, but a picture of someone throwing a Bible in a trash can with a "Save the Planet" slogan is fair game?

Also, the agnostics and athiests can save the sanctimony and self-righteousness for the don't ask don't tell thread. I'm just commenting on the self-policing trend here.

I am surprised nobody has commented on his inauguration speech today. After the umpeenth, out-of-place "so" and "first off, I would like to..." , I felt like I was listening to bad karaoke- just felt really uncomfortable and embarrassed for him. It was like somebody turned off the teleprompter or snatched his notes- a complete bumbling start. I had to turn it off- too painful.

Maybe he was super nervous, but he will have to polish up his public speaking, because I felt it made him look very, well, unqualified. Public office requires effective public speaking.

He's always been like that. I saw him on Lou Dobb's Moneyline back in the 90's trying to explain all the allegations against him. He was at a loss for words. The next day he was ousted from Columbia HCA.

I didn't watch it - sounds like I didn't miss much.

Can someone please tell me how a beady eyed criminal beat Alex Sink.? There must me something that the people need more than the Dems can offer.

He had the money to maker and constantly air some really effective commercials. Most Floridians seem not to bother to do much other research about elections these days.

Would you complain if was the Koran? Actually is represents all formal religions not just the Bible and is meant to provoke thought on the question "would the world be better off without religions?"

Don't ask don't tell goes beyond religion, its repeal is the right thing to do in a truly free society.
