Grand jury investigation facts leaking out

New posts
very interesting I will say, I heard
Them called him "dead man walking",may mean he had already been shot ( once in the hand with his blood on gun barrel, make your own conclusions). Also said ," that video started 40 seconds after numerous shoots heard". Based on this and forensics appears( obviously) this is not just cut and dry ..... which is what all the Horror for nights that occurred in August was based on, plus a good chance to rob and burn innocent stores. Major point is what was happening ( really) when final shot fired? No one wins...
Pray Calmer Heads prevail.

Yet there you go assuming. I stand by my statement that it would be a surprise if the officer is indicted.

No I wasn't there and don't claim to know the facts. Witness accounts seem to indicate he wasn't a threat at the time he was gunned down. In cases like these more weight is given to the officer's testimony than to the witnesses and if the evidence backs up his story so be it.

I don't always assume the worst about police misconduct, but there sure has been a lot of it exposed since cellphone cameras became the norm. What do you think is the reason American police officers will fire more rounds in one incident than some other countries entire police force will fire in a whole year?

striker fired semi-automatic sidearms with double stack magazines. the cops do it because the criminals have that and more.

if you physically attack a police officer, you may be signing your own death warrant. you can argue all you want per your own delusions, but no matter where you are, the end result can be the same.

If there was a struggle, then the officer had justification in shooting the man to prevent him from getting his gun. If you shoot, you shoot to kill, so yes the officer had justification in killing him in the initial encounter. For this reason, it is difficult for me to mourn the man's death. It's not quite that simple though. He survived the initial encounter. He may have been trying to surrender and the officer may have shot him repeatedly at that point for no justifiable reason. I can hold two seemingly contradictory viewpoints on this. Yes, he brought his death upon himself, but the officer may have been in the wrong both legally and morally.

And then we have Eric Holder and the Feds pursuing this matter as a civil rights violation case....and will probably sadly ruin this police officers integrity (or worse) in this unjust inquiry!!

How is it an unjust inquiry? If they find in his favor and say he was a hero and saved lives that day would it be an unjust inquiry?

Our local police director stated there could be problems here in Memphis due to the ruling. Don't understand why since this happened in Ferguson, MO. However, they are expecting protests here if the police officer is found not guilty. We have enough problems here already with youth and flash mob attacks. Don't need any more problems.
