It is not an organized event but it has always been on the 4th, and commences at 8 AM the last few years.

God Bless America, Grayton and that dog!!!! :clap_1:

I find it interesting that several people have asked on which day the July 4th Parade will be. If it were on another day, it wouldn't be the July 4th Parade. Am I missing something?:idontno:

Grayton 4th of July parade

Ok...everyone have a funn time for me! :clap_1:

Hello all and Happy 4th of July! Line up for the parade will be in front of the Red Bar around 8:30 am and start at 9:00 am. Please decorate your favorite car, truck, moped, bike, trike, boat, or other vehicle and join in the fun. We look forward to seeing you all there!

The South Walton Community Council is conducting a beach clean up all over South Walton on July 5th from 8:00-10:00 am. They have asked for as many volunteers from Grayton Beach as possible to meet at the main beach access on Garfield Street. We will be cleaning the beach after July 4th parties. Each volunteer will receive a water bottle, a t-shirt, garbage bags and instructions. Additionally, if you have a high school student the hours worked will go toward the requirements of the bright futures scholarship program for community service.

Have a safe and happy Fourth of July wherever you are!

I've never understood why the fireworks are done on the 3rd here. Seems like they always are! BTW, love the cute lab with its star and bandana! :idontno:
