Hey my name is Sean and I am a guitarist recently relocated to the area and looking for other musicians to play with. I am willing to join either an established cover band (as lead or even rhythm role) or start a new project, am looking for paid gigs but I do this for the absolute LOVE of it so that is ultimately the most important criteria. I would also like to offer my services to any singer/songwriters looking for live backup or augmentation. I would REALLY like to start or join a small combo for small paid gigs, whether with a keyboardist/vocalist or another guitarist/vocalist - unfortunately, I do not have strong enough vocals to offer, however I am completely professional and have been playing for over 20 years.
I am in my mid 30's and look young so I can fit with both older or younger players, and I love everything from classic rock to blues to 80's pop to 90's alternative to modern rock and pop. My style is mostly blues rock based growing up in a house filled with Clapton, SRV, BB King etc, but my favorite player is the Edge and I also love Dave Navarro from Jane's Addiction.
I played professionally for many years in a cover band in Orlando and was a main member/songwriter with the now Austin-based artist Ruby James (who's most recent record was recorded and produced by Charlie Sexton).
I have taken a few years hiatus so my most recent demo's are somewhat scant, but you can check out some of my recent noodlings at http://seanchristiandampier.com/music/.
P.S. I am absolutely 100% DRUG-FREE and want nothing to do with a drug, party or heavy drinking situation.
If any of this sounds interesting, give me a shout!
