Well, I was afraid it was going to be a little confusing because we actually had his party a week early because out-of-town family members were here. He did understand, though, the actual day on Saturday, and we took him out to dinner.
Not to worry, John R (and you, too, Johnrudy!), he had ice cream, though it was a sundae, not 6 different kinds.
