PUI alert here so bear with me!

Halloween in our neighborhood is an adult even carefully disguised to look like it's all about the kids. It ain't.

This is our time-honored routine: first visit at our friends at the corner (see photo of Leigh, the evil princess with the glittery fairy wings; me in the corner of the photo wearing the red Indiana University sweatshirt, guaranteed to strike ghoulish horror into Purdue U. alumni, especially since the big rivalry game is coming up
soon! ) After several vinos as Leigh's house, toodle on down the cul-de-sac behind us that everyone blocks off with their firepits and warm ourselves up again and help ourselves to more liquid refreshments. Toodle on back home...eventually....see what Halloween candy is left and proceed to finish it off. Wash down with another vino. Happy Halloween!
Oh, the other photo is on my friend Leigh's porch, and it's of my daughter and new boyfriend (it's sickening how lovey dovey fresh romance is  ) and other friends. Yes, they're all high school seniors, but they promised me this would be their last year trick-or-treating.
