To each of you mom's out there, Happy Mother's Day! You will never know how much you mean to your children, because we kids often take our mothers for granted. Mothers are always doing things for their children long before day 1, so we kids think that the things which moms do are just things which moms do, while in reality, moms don't have to do those things, they CHOOSE to do those things. Cooking, cleaning, driving us to and from this and that, feeding, clothing, dressing, nurturing, teaching, and setting the example, etc. All moms are special. Some even take on other children as their own. There is nothing like a mother's love, except a child's love for his/her mother.

Happy Mother's Day, moms in the world!

 Thank you SJ!!!!

Happy Mother's Day to all you Sowal moms!!!!!! Now I am going to grab my coffee and drive to pick up two of my kids from friends houses, come back take another kid to another friends to work on a school project, do laundry, cook, clean and work in the yard......................:D Then I am going to relax!!!

I am humbled by my Mom's incredible ability to raise 4 children... and after all that she remains just as committed to us as ever plus all her grandchildren and a huge network of extended family and friends - anyone within her protective sphere knows that if they become ill or go into the hospital or have a baby or whatever - she is going to be there - with food, or to sit through the night (along with her entourage sisters & cousins). Some Moms have the special thing that it takes to keep giving and nurturing and caring for everyone around them, not just their own kids. It is what they do. It is their life work. Aren't they amazing women? Very inspiring to us all.

Thanks to Moms of all kinds.

I am proud of my Mom for many reasons, among them:
--for not killing herself when my five-year-old brother was mowed down by a drunk driver
--for having the strength to raise a college freshman, a 6-year-old, and an 8-year old when Daddy died when she was 45
--for when I was hospitalized for two months due to a high-risk pregnancy and she had started working to make ends meet while Daddy's estate was being settled, she visited me at the hospital every day before work and after work, and served a huge Christmas dinner complete with china, sterling, and crystal stemware in my hospital room -- to the max
--for managing Daddy's money so well that she still has plenty left (rather than spending it on the things that she was accustomed to having)
--for loving us so much.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers.

And hope those of you who are having infertility issues as I did will find peace on this difficult day and hopefully be successful in having a baby.

Huge hug to all that care about people.
Being a mom is my life.
I think God gave us children to show us how great and how capable we are when we love someone with all of our heart.
I see many great things when you people speak and am proud to be a part of your lives.

Good thread Smiling Joe :D
