Just wanted to take a moment and wish you all a very Happy New Year and if you are going out to be safe. There are a lot of crazies out there. Also just wanted to say that looking at this board and conversing with all of you has been great. It has made time away from the beach almost bearable. I am looking forward to the coming year and possibly meeting any of the fellow posters upon visiting the beach next year. :clap_1: :clap_1: :clap_1:

We were going to play a gig, but that fell through. We were going to go to SoWal but there are renters in our house. So now we're just going to hang here at the farm, make a roaring fire, and do a little pickin' and grinnin' with a handful of good friends and our collective kids and animals, as the case may be. Maybe I'll make a batch of chicken green chili and some hot buttered rums.... :d

Happy New Year Everyone! We are going to my sisters house to play cards and games. We 're going to order chinese and make a dessert fondue. Pretty low key but we'll have funn!

we will also be staying in, as luck would have it, the liquor store had 2 bottles of dom perignon - my most favoritest beverage in the world, so i will be sucking those back. i think the hubby has to work on 1/1 so he will be drinking in moderation - poor soul. i go back 1/2 so i have time to recover.

We are going some friends for a very low key, game-playing NYE, with kids- we did this last year and it was nice and relaxing. Jeans only- no dressup. I may wear pajamas this year! We will be home and sound asleep at midnight!!

We are moving to our beach rental that Saturday.
We don't have all that much stuff (most of our stuff is in storage) but we will probably be pretty wiped out after that.

Whatever we do, good food and champagne will be involved.
