My favorite fact about pi is that it equals the infinite Taylor series 4/1 – 4/3 + 4/5 -4/7 + 4/9 - 4/11 + …
But today I heard another fact:
Grab your calculator…write down the first three odd integers 1 3 5
Now write down each one twice in pairs 113355
Now divide them into two three digit integers 113 and 355
Divide 355 by 113! ….. Good to one part in ten million!
