What I do for my kids....but man was it worth it! I was sucked in for the entire 2 1/2 hours, and didn't want it to end. Wish they would come out with an extended version, because of course they had to leave at least 1/2 the book out. Even so, it was still awesome! Much much funnier (those Weasley twins steal the show), intense and darker. Can't wait for #5!

Now I will sit here and watch my hands and feet swell from the salty popcorn!

Some of my students went to a showing at 12 AM today, got back in town at 4 AM, and made it to my 8:30 AM class. They said it was awesome. My daughter is seeing it in ATL as we speak. She is so excited about seeing it.

I heard that the Superman clip was awesome.

The ad for the new Nikon camera was better than the Superman clip! But there is bad news- another King Kong remake. And Cheaper by the Dozen 2 doesn't look too promising.

King Kong looks awesome! Especially the fight with the T-rex.

Thanks for the report jdarg! I just told my daughter there was a Harry Potter thread and she wanted to know what you had to say............ big fan.
She couldn't go opening night or for next 2 nights because of band concert and practices but maybe Sunday.

I spent the evening with a bunch of 7th and 8th graders after band practice at IHOP! whoopi! Not bad though cause they're fun and I actually had some adults to talk to and found a booth AWAY from them.

Good thing these kids are in band and not choir, 'cause there was a lot of bad singing going on in the van! :funn:

i personally don't get the whole thing. i thought it was something for younger people but i hear from older people it is great.

My hub and daughter read all the books and see all the movies, I just go to the movies (didn't make it all the way through the first book).

It's good stuff.

at least 7 differnt people asked me if i was going to see this movie tonight. i haven't seen any of them or read any books. is it really worth the time to try to catch up????

I thought it was like some cult...but grown people like it as much as kids. I was never one for fantasy...I have enough of that in my head!!!! No one in my fam has read or seen anything Potter...we are losers.
