About books being translated into movies--only rarely have I thought the movie was better, but when I have to say it's magic when it works. "House of Sand and Fog" was one in which the movie fleshed out the book beautifully, and it was mesmerizing.[/QUOTE]
I am torn about wanting to see this movie. I couldn't put the book down- which was a strange feeling since I was so sad as I was reading it and when I finished it. I don't know if i could make it through the movie!
