Heavy fish activity in bayou

If you are a fisherman reading this, get on out to the boat ramp near Eden State Park. The activity out there has been unbelievable today, the surface of the water bubbling over like a jacuzzi since 7am. And no dolphins today (YET) so hurry up.

I live in pt washington and use the ramp often. Its mostly mullet in that area. It boils like that everynight all year long. However, youll find reds and trout during specitic times of the day. Theres also an occasional gator so keep an eye out......

It truly has been a spectacle today. I think its probably mullet fish. Now a big storm is coming over the bay so I guess this fish story is all mine... But I tried to help!

I would have come out, but I am home early with my daughter today as she is sick and couldn't go to Spice at Bay Elementary...

Perhaps next time you could sharpen the end of your swiffer and use it for some spear fishing?! hehe

I probably could have caught dinner by sweeping my garden rake out there today (there is no need to endanger the life of my trusty confidant). And is there a slight chance your daughter was sick "of not going out fishing with dad enough?".

Lol, you might be right. Since our canoe was stolen a couple of weeks ago, we haven't been going out on the lake like we use to.

...but since you seem to be well versed in the ancient technique of Zen Rake Fishing, perhaps we need to change that.
