Perhaps if you are on a ship in the Mediterranean (my life-long dream vacation, btw), you'll say "Sowal? What Sowal? Cabin boy, I need fresh towels and ice, pronto!"

Nah...she'll find a way. Hey alli....ask Mr. K how much it costs to sowal from a cruise ship!!!! I'll be posting from a glacier in Alaska in about 2 weeks!!!

Hey Cil, sounds like your have a wonderful time. Sorry we missed meeting up last week, once we got to the house it was crazy.

BTW, should I know where Dubrovnik is?


SS...my mom and dad did the Alaska cruise a year ago and LOVED it. She said the glaciers were amazing. Have fun and take pics, they didn't -- she says she can't figure out the new camera we gave her.

Well, hello there Cil!!!! I have actually BEEN to Dubrovnik and walked all around that wall!!! Lovely place. Where all have you been?

Hi Sue. Please excuse my typing; we are now in Strasbourg (France) and this keyboard is different. We walked all over the city walls and went into the cathedral and took a boat to the island of Lokrum; which was very nice. Lovely swimming; the water is such beautiful clear turquoise.
Then we rented a car and drove down to Montenegro. Incredible coastline.
Then we spent about4 days on the island of Hvar (pronounced Hwar.
It was really interesting comparing the seaside life there with Port St Joe.
Now we are in Strasbourg for the Tour de France (if I can wake up the husband and son

No soccer thug fights; but I heard there was some violence with the English--but they are out of it now; as is Brazil: Everyone is in a good mood here because the French just won in the Tour as well as the World Cup.
Its funny how the World Cup is so ignored in the States but so HUGE here.
It was absolutely berserk in Germany, but everyone I saw was jovial and friendly. However I could definitely see how the event could be a recipe for trouble.
