I was born in Cork City, Ireland and I moved to the USA in 1990. My dad, two brothers and sister still live there with my nieces and nephews. I go home once at year if possible.I love going home but I think I;ve become very Americanized.

...went to UK this spring on a 2-week Transatlantic repositioning cruise--it did a stopover in Cork (beautiful town) on our way to England, and several folks got off at that stop (some also got off when we stopped in France--and some missed the boat in Bermuda & Azores ). When you plan your next trip home, you might want to check out the repositioning cruises--some have very good deals if they have trouble filling them up.
