Cork,

I'm sure that they are fine. The news specifically reported that no tsunamis or dangerous waves were generated by the earthquake.

They are probably not returning your calls because they are too busy having a great time! I was on a cruise ship in the Caribbean during Hurricane Andrew and we were not affected at all. When we got back everyone had been in a panic to get hold of us and we simply had no clue anything was going on since we hadn't paid any attention to the news.

Also, my co-worker's family lives on the island of Kauai and she reports they felt the quake, and that the power is out but everybody is just fine there.

Thanks Timmy,

Thanks, that makes me feel better. I know your probably right and I'm thinking they may be at see because if the towers were gone there'd be an error message on the line but we can leave messages so I'm guessing they're on the ship.

Also, they were supposed to call with the flight info so my sister has no idea which airline they are using. I dropped them off at the airport but am clueless which terminal they went to. I MUST be losing my short term memory  ! My sister is going to see if she can get info off their computer to call the cruise line. will keep you posted.

I just read this. Cork, you must feel so good getting all this great advice. I am always amazed at how helpful sowallers are. Keep us posted.

Cork, I will keep your parents in my prayers. Please let us know when you hear from them!!

Cork, I'm sure all's well with your parents. Remember the old saying, "No news is good news." The cell phone service is probably lousy, and remember about the time difference. I bet your parents don't want to wake you up in the middle of the night with a phone call!

God love ya Cork. I know this is stressful. Try not to worry, they are probably in the line for the buffet having a great time.

You guys are the best! We still have no news but a friend reminded me that ships have everything tied down on them and that they are built for really high waves. I'm sure they are physically fine and we just need to get them back here and I hope it didn't mess up the last few days of their trip. Will keep you posted when I hear something and love you guys so much for being you !!!!!!!! When they do get back, then we need to go to the Oncologist with him. They are having a rough month for sure

How great is this board? I think it was DD that mentioned saturday at lunch about how this BB used to be about Sowal and it has turned into being about the people and how strangers can come together and care about each other so much. I wub you all

I thought about your parents when I heard about the quake. I'm sure they are just fine! Let us know when you talk to them, ok?
