jdarg said:Come to KY, DD! We have LOTS of bats. Every night at dusk- I love them 'cause they eat the skeeters! We sit on the deck and watch them crazy fly! ANd hope their sonar is working so they don't run into us.![]()

Oh, I hate that. I love hummingbirds. Both my feeders stay empty as I do not know how many birds hit them though. Last year I was seeing 4 at a time and one hummingbird would perch on a limb and guard the feeder and anytime any other hummingbirds would try to drink from it that one bird would swoop down and run them off. This year I have two out, one way around the house hanging on my front porch and the one on the side porch. That way the hummers cannot guard both.Rita said:DD,
I've got baby Turk's Caps you can have. Hummingbirds love it. If you're not familiar, the plant gets big, 4 to 5 feet around here, will tolerate sun to shade, and has red flowers that look like an unopened hibiscus bloom. If you've got these flowers in your yard, you'll get hummungbirds! They love them.
Let me know if you want any.
Are you getting rain? We're getting sprinkles and the temp dropped 20 degrees! :clap_1:
