Hey Kimmi...Great Day for a Walk????

New posts
I see NYC's transit has gone on strike. Hope the weather is okay for you on your journey into work! Please wear sensible shoes!!

it is -1 here in my little corner of indiana - so cold that while i scraped my car windows this morning, the condensation from my breath thru my scarf froze on my eyelashes. cool huh ?

Don't even start me.

First: These people with nothing shy of a high school educaation that don't speak english start at 47k. These are the people that CLEAN the stations and trains. I started at 23k as a personal assistant at a PR agency. Where do I sign up? Hmm? This is going to cost the city so much money.

These yahoos are making upwards of 60k and DON'T cover ANY of their insurance. Ask me how many speak english. If I got to sit in a booth on my fat toosh all day and just push a button I'd be thrilled.

I'm so infuriated. It's going to be like the black out. Everyone is just going to be romaing the streets. The car service called and they don't have drivers so we're walking. And we have to work on the freaking floor today. NO WAY.

My blood is boiling.

You know it's cold when the inside of your nose freezes.

Well...yours truly made it to work a la pied.
I hope the a-holes that work for the MTA are happy.
Jerks.

Ugh--talk about adding insult to injury!
Mr. Pod was in LaGuardia when the blackout hit; I've heard few blackout horror stories that top his!

Eww! I was at work during the black out. I lived all the way up on 80th and 1st on the 16th floor of a high rise. All the bars were giving out beer so everyone was hot, sweaty and drunk. It was miserable!

Glad you made it in Kgull. You are the Steel Magnolia!

To my frozen friends....BRRRRRRRRRRRR! It's hard to complain about a "cold" wet day here after reading your news!

That is crazy. One of my former bosses, grew up on 77th between 1st and 2nd Ave, and a good friend of mine once lived on 79th, between 1st and 2nd Ave. New York is a really small town to be so darn big.
