Usually in the back seats

I guess you could troll for seagulls and pelicans. Not sure your bait would ever get wet behind that thing.

Hmmmmm.... Kite fishing?:idontno:

On a sad note, I had a 14 hour tuna trip scheduled for September and my dad backed out. He said he's worried he'd have a heart attack 50 miles out. Bummer! Not ready to be dealing with that issue yet. I think his wife may have talked him out of it.

I should send him a picture of that boat and tell him that we could get back in a jiffy if anything happened. We'd beat the coast guard for sure.

That bites. Fair enough concern though. Happened to father-in-law of friend that got me started fly-in fishing in Canada. Dude bought it (heart thing) 350 miles out in the middle of nowhere. Back 15 years or so ago before they started putting a radio in the cabins. Then, you unrolled a big "emergency" tarp on top of cabin and waited for one of the outfitter's planes to fly over (maybe once a day).

I guess I'll book us an inshore trip too while I'm down in September. DANG! Another fishing trip!
