Well, I'm here to say that not one flipping thing has changed in five years!! Magnolia leaves everywhere! I'm still picking them up and I'm still cussing.

BTW, where the HAIL is Cheering? I miss that girl.

sj, i don't hate trees - i hate my neighbor and his helicopter thingies. that is why i throw doggie gifts in his yard.​

btw, I adore magnolia trees!!! We don't have to worry about the leaves - we leave 'em, so what's not to love? Love 'em from roots to top - and some of them are extra huge. and many are babies. They are native all over my yard and throughout Pt Washington. There is a beautiful, dark, shady magnolia tree grove covering a large area in the swamp on the little road leading to the Montessori School. Very mystical!!! I love finding them growing in the dunes near the beach. The flowers are magnificent. My boyfriend picked some for me on my birthday...

DD - its a gorgeous pain in your tattooed rear. But, I do feel for ya. Bless your heart, and all that stuff.

If I didn't have roses and other crap trying to survive under this freakin' tree, I'd love 'em too. I do love the blossoms and their fragrance! I guess I could relocate my plants, but that's a big fat pain in my tattooed ass too.
